SPIRITUAL GIFTS: PROPHECY
Our desire is that every Christ-follower is an active member of a local church and to know what spiritual gifts God has given them for building up the church and the common good. Once you have an idea of how God has gifted you with unique manifestations of the Spirit, use the following next-step guide to help you develop and deploy your gifts as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
PROPHECY
The gift of prophecy is the divine enablement to receive and communicate an immediate message of God to His people through a divinely anointed utterance.
1 Corinthians 12:10 & 28, 13:2; Ephesians 4:11-14; Romans 12:6; Luke 7:26; Acts 15:32, 21:9-11; 2 Peter 1:19-21
HOW TO DEVELOP:
Saturate yourself in the truth of Scripture as this is your main plumbline for testing prophetic words, dreams and visions.

Pray specifically for God to speak to you and give you prophetic contributions for (often specific) people.
Step out in faith and try to bring prophetic contributions to Life Group.
Pray in the week and ask God to give you prophetic contributions to our community in our Sunday Gatherings.
Always be alert and ready to share a prophetic stirring on Sundays or at other events such as Worship nights.
Join the Prayer Ministry Team and regularly pray for people trusting for God to speak through you.
