SPIRITUAL GIFTS: GIVING

Our desire is that every Christ-follower is an active member of a local church and to know what spiritual gifts God has given them for building up the church and the common good. Once you have an idea of how God has gifted you with unique manifestations of the Spirit, use the following next-step guide to help you develop and deploy your gifts as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

The gift of giving is the divine enablement to contribute their material resources to the work of the Lord with liberality and cheerfulness.

HOW TO DEVELOP THROUGH RECOMMENDED BOOKS:

“The Gift of Giving” by Chuck Smith

"The Treasure Principle" by Randy Alcorn

“Your Gift: Giving” by Douglas Porter

"Money, Possessions and Eternity" by Randy Alcorn

  • Give generously every month through regular committing giving to the church.

  • Let the elders know that gift and means to radically underwrite certain things and ask if there is anything coming up you could financially give to, or if there are any members who are suffering financially that you could aid.

  • Offer to pay for event tickets for people who cannot afford to attend things like camps etc...
